Your Sales Team Has Targets, Now You Can Actually Track Them.

Modaltrans now lets you monitor your sales team's activities, quotes, and revenue performance — all in one place.

If you run a freight forwarding company, you already know the feeling. At quarter's end, you ask how sales went, and the answer is somewhere between "pretty good" and "we sent a lot of quotes." Not exactly the kind of clarity that helps you grow.

The truth is, most freight forwarders are flying blind when it comes to sales performance. Activity happens — calls get made, quotes go out, meetings happen — but there's no single place to see it all, measure it, and act on it.

That's exactly why we built Sales Team Performance Monitoring into Modaltrans.

See What Your Team Is Actually Doing

Good sales management starts with visibility. With the new activity tracking in Modaltrans, you can set individual targets for each sales rep and monitor their progress across the things that matter most:

  • Phone calls made
  • Marketing emails sent
  • Meetings held
  • Quotes sent and accepted.

You can create different activity groups for junior and senior sales colleagues, and assign different targets to each group. It sounds simple, but having this in one place — with targets attached — changes how you manage your team. You stop guessing and start coaching based on real numbers.

Understand Your Quote Pipeline, Not Just the End Result

How many quotes did you send last month? How many were accepted? And for the ones that weren't — do you know why?

Modaltrans now gives you a clear view of your entire quote pipeline: total quotes sent, accepted vs. rejected, and the total value on both sides.

When you start tracking why quotes aren't converting — whether it's price, transit time, routing, or something else — you have something genuinely useful. You can adjust your commercial approach, spot patterns across markets, and have much more productive conversations with your team about what's working and what isn't.

Set Revenue Targets by Country and Zone

Freight forwarding is a geographic business. Your reps aren't just "in sales" — they own lanes, develop markets, and build relationships in specific regions. Your targets should reflect that.

With Modaltrans, you can now assign revenue targets to each sales team member by country and trade zone, and track their performance against those targets throughout the period. Everyone on the team — from individual reps to management — can see exactly where things stand, which markets are on track, and where to focus energy.

No more end-of-quarter surprises.

Built for Freight Forwarders, Not Generic Sales Teams

There are plenty of CRM tools out there. Most of them weren't built with freight forwarding in mind. Modaltrans is — meaning the workflows, metrics, and reporting all make sense for how your business actually operates.

Sales Team Performance Monitoring is live now, and we'd love to show you how it works for your team specifically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we create multiple sales team groups for Air-Ocean and Road, or even for Seniors and Juniors?

Yes, you can create different groups for sales teams. And each sales colleague should be assigned to one group. Reporting will be per sales colleague.

Can we add our own quote rejection options?

Yes, you can see all these options under CRM settings.

Can Modaltrans calculate commissions for each sales colleague?

No, right now it only reports country or trade zone-based revenue totals. Commissions work differently for each company. It is on our to-do list, but currently, Modaltrans does not have this feature.

Can we create user accounts for the entire sales team, but they won’t use the system? Only for reporting purposes.

Yes, you can create accounts for them. You need to notify our support team for those accounts. Our support team will change their account type, and we won’t invoice for their accounts. You will be able to assign their accounts as sales representatives to your customers and shipments.
